David Markowitz

David Markowitz is an experienced podcast manager and senior producer, currently working at Netflix since October 2022 and also serving on the Board of Directors for Audily, a modern podcast and audiobook production studio. Previously, Markowitz held various significant roles including podcast manager at Netflix from October 2020 to March 2022, and managing producer at Pushkin Industries. As co-founder and executive producer at Zero Mile Media, Markowitz developed podcasts reflecting diverse voices and produced the successful fictional podcast, Tribulation. In addition, Markowitz founded Timbreland Media, focusing on audio consulting and production, and led strategy at Lantern Audio, where major platform partnerships were secured. Markowitz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and Philosophy from New York University, earned between 1985 and 1989.
