Rob Watson

Rob Watson has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and operations support. Rob has held various managerial and leadership roles in companies such as Marlette Funding, Envestnet | Yodlee, Comcast Cable, Barclaycard, and CSC.

In their most recent position as the Director of Site Reliability Engineering at Marlette Funding, Rob is responsible for overseeing the reliability and performance of the company's personal loan services.

Prior to that, Rob worked at Envestnet | Yodlee, where they served as the Manager of Site Reliability Engineering and Senior Operations Engineer. In these roles, they ensured the smooth operation of the company's systems and managed incident resolution processes.

Rob also has experience in the telecommunications industry, having worked at Comcast Cable. As the Production Support Incident Manager, they triaged and managed incidents for the company's Xfinity X1 Platform, implementing process improvements to enhance incident management.

Before Comcast Cable, Rob held positions at Barclaycard, where they worked as an Incident Manager and Operations Support. In this role, they maintained and supported incident, change, and problem management processes for all bank operations.

At CSC, Rob served in two different roles. First, as the Lead of Global IT Service Management, they managed a global service team and implemented ITIL-based processes across the service desk. Later, as the Data Security - Incident Analytic Specialist, they monitored security events, generated incident reports, and conducted audits for compliance.

Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated strong leadership skills, process improvement expertise, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Rob Watson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networking and Security from Wilmington University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Prior to this, they attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from 2001 to 2005, where they studied Computer Science.
