BEST, Board of European Students of Technology, is a student driven non-profit and politically unaffiliated organisation. Since 1989 BEST provides communication, co-operation and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe.

With the idea in mind to connect local students at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg(FAU) with the European wide network of BEST, a group of internationally minded students from Erlangen set out to establish the first German Local BEST Group(LBG) in March 2012.

BEST Erlangen strives to help European students in technology orientated fields to become more internationally minded, by reaching a better understanding of European cultures and developing capacities to work on an international basis. Therefore we create opportunities for the students to meet and learn from one another through our academic and non-academic events and educational symposia.

Our events include seasonal courses, BEST Symposia on Education, Hackathons and Engineering Competitions.

BEST lays at the heart of the triangle Students-Universities-Partners and brings these stakeholders together through different projects throughout the year all around Europe.
