Peter Olah

Peter Olah is the current VP of Engineering at Bestow. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Engineering at Care.com from July 2020 to January 2022. In this role, they were in charge of an emerging vertical's engineering team within Care.com and was responsible for charting the company's evolution for products, people, and processes.

From October 2016 to July 2020, Olah was the Director of Engineering - Rate Inventory, Pricing, Availability, Tax at Expedia Group (Vrbo). In this role, they oversaw Vrbo's rate inventory, pricing, availability, lodging tax. This team powered the entire traveler funnel for the most critical part of the experience, pricing properties.

Olah also spent time at HomeAway as the Sr. Engineering Manager - ReservationManager, Rates from May 2010 to October 2016. In this role, they assembled and maintained several teams to scale HomeAway's eCommerce business. Peter was also actively involved in all phases of the product development lifecycle.

Prior to their work at Bestow, Olah also served as a Technical Consultant at BP3 Global, Inc. from July 2008 to May 2010 and as a Lead Technical Consultant at IBM Global Business Services from August 2006 to July 2008.

Peter Olah received a B.S. in Computer Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and a Diploma in Science from Kassak Lajos Gimnazium. Peter has also received certification from Coursera in Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
