Michael Nguyen

Michael Nguyen's work experience starts with their current position at Beta Bionics as a Senior Software Engineer I, where they have been working since April 2023. Before that, they were a Software Engineer II at the same company from September 2021 to April 2023.

Prior to their role at Beta Bionics, Michael worked at Jordan Elbridge Central School as a Head Varsity Wrestling Coach starting from October 2019. Before that, they were an Assistant Wrestling Coach from September 2017 to October 2019.

From November 2019 to August 2021, Michael worked at SIDEARM Sports, first as a Senior Mobile App Developer, and then as a Web Developer from June 2015 to November 2019. In these roles, they focused on mobile app development and web development, collaborating with multiple teams and playing a key role in the development of various projects.

Michael also has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Syracuse University, teaching an introductory web design and development course from December 2015 to January 2018.

Before their tenure at Syracuse University, Michael worked as a UI/UX Developer/Designer at CATERTRAX from May 2014 to May 2015, where they collaborated with different departments to produce web solutions for clients.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Web Developer at the Student IT Office (SITO) from August 2013 to May 2014, where they collaborated with a team to implement project proposals and improved the user interface and experience of the RIT Class Search.

During their time as a student, Michael gained experience as a Student Worker at RIT Human Resources from November 2011 to August 2013.

Additionally, Michael worked as a Front End Web Developer at RoomioTV from November 2012 to February 2013, and as a Student Activist at NYPIRG from June 2011 to September 2011.

Michael Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in New Media Interactive Development from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Michael attended the university from 2010 to 2015.
