Robert Alessi

Robert Alessi has extensive experience in the medical device industry, specifically in the field of diabetes management. Robert is currently working as the Regional Business Director, East Coast at Beta Bionics, a medical device startup that is launching the first-ever fully automated bionic pancreas.

Before joining Beta Bionics, Alessi held senior positions at Bigfoot Biomedical. Robert served as the Sr. Director of Business Development from January 2021 to September 2022 and again from July 2022 to February 2023.

Prior to their tenure at Bigfoot Biomedical, Alessi worked at Companion Medical as a District Business Manager. During their time there from January 2018 to November 2020, they effectively managed the North East region and contributed to changing the way people with diabetes manage their health.

Alessi's career in the medical device industry began at Tandem Diabetes Care, where they worked as a Territory Manager from an unspecified date until November 2020.
