Geoffrey Hunter

Geoffrey Hunter is an experienced Senior Embedded Engineer currently at Beta Solutions Limited since July 2023. With a strong background in embedded systems, Geoffrey has been the owner and author of mbedded.ninja, a resource for embedded engineering that features a blog, the NinjaTerm serial terminal program, and the NinjaCalc suite of calculators. Previous roles include Lead Electronics Engineer and Lead Product Development Engineer at BioLumic, and Software Engineer and Embedded Software Engineer at UrtheCast, where Geoffrey contributed to satellite image processing and embedded firmware design for earth observation satellites. Geoffrey Hunter holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Mechatronics from the University of Canterbury and has extensive knowledge in programming languages, algorithms, and cloud infrastructure.
