Chip Clifton is an experienced aerospace and electrical engineering professional with a strong background in electromechanical systems and product development. Currently a team member at BETA TECHNOLOGIES, Chip contributes to the development of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering at LORD Corporation, where leadership involved managing the electromechanical engineering group and developing new products. Chip also held roles at Belcan Engineering as Senior Technical Lead for gas turbine engine control systems and as Design Engineer at Cybersensor, Inc., focusing on embedded software controls. Chip Clifton holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and dual bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida.
