Francois Viens

Francois Viens has extensive experience in the field of fatigue and damage tolerance, currently serving in the role of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance at BETA TECHNOLOGIES since March 2022. Prior to this position, Francois Viens worked at BOMBARDIER from February 2010 to July 2021 as a Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Senior Engineering Specialist, where responsibilities included leading F&DT Core Engineering, overseeing missionized groups, and defining test plans for material characterization. Earlier roles included positions at L-3 as Ingénieur structures and at BOMBARDIER as Ingénieur matériaux, focusing on material and process engineering. Francois Viens holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (2001-2004) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (1997-2001) from École de technologie supérieure.
