Jack Boynton has extensive experience in software development and data analysis, currently employed as an R&D Software engineer at BETA Technologies, focusing on high-performance data-acquisition and sensor systems. Previously, Jack served as a lead on a computation team at the University of Vermont, enhancing the quality of the GLOBE Observer dataset for NASA through the application of AWS tools and hosting image labeling hackathons. Jack's background includes innovative research as a Research Assistant, developing data-augmentation strategies for ECG heartbeats, alongside contributions as a Data Annotator for transportation images, collaborating with industry professionals. Additional experience includes an Image Analysis Internship at Reveal Biosciences and a Project Lead role at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine, where Jack developed a multi-class 3D UNet for tissue segmentation in MR images.
