Kyle Deitering is a Senior Composite Design Engineer at BETA TECHNOLOGIES since November 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Composites Design Engineer at Wisk from August 2022 to November 2025 and as an Independent Contractor at Textron eAviation, providing on-site engineering support for the Nexus eVTOL aircraft in April to July 2022. From July 2010 to March 2022, Kyle worked at Spirit AeroSystems, starting as a Structural Design Engineer specializing in large composite structures for defense projects and later advancing to Lead Engineer, overseeing the design of wing structures for eVTOL aircraft. Kyle earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Iowa State University (2006-2010) and attended Brunel University of London in 2008.
