Robert Bottomley is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in research and development within the aerospace and bioengineering fields. Currently employed at Beta Technologies since January 2021, Robert engages in the transition from R&D to certified aircraft, utilizing tools such as CATIA, Solidworks, Onshape, and Ansys Mechanical. Previously, Robert contributed to Tethers Unlimited Inc. in the design and implementation of electro-mechanical systems, focusing on aerospace applications, while also programming sensors and instrumentation.
