Michael Jackson has a long and varied career in the technology and finance industries. Michael began their career in 2000 as the Director of Process Engineering at Proxy, Inc. In 2001, they moved to Merrill Lynch Japan Securities Inc., where they held the role of Process Engineering Manager. In 2003, they joined Barclay's Capital Japan Limited as the Regional Head of Production Support - Associate Director. Michael then moved to IT Commerce in 2005 as the Implementation Director. In 2007, they became the President/Managing Director of M5 Consulting Group, and in 2008, they took on the role of Center of Excellence Lead and Project Manager - As Part of M5 Consulting at AXA. In 2012, they joined ING Life Insurance, Ltd Japan as Division Manager and Office Manager. In 2015, they became the COO/Director of Solution Delivery at Kenja Corporation, and in 2016, they were appointed Director - Product Manager (Regional Head of Delivery) at Manulife Asset Management. Most recently, in 2019, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at BetaSmartz.
Michael Jackson attended Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology from 1978 to 1981, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General. Michael then attended Columbia University in the City of New York from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Science.
