Doug Gray has extensive experience in the field of communications and writing. Doug started their career as an Editorial coordinator and writer at The Report Company in October 2012 and worked there until June 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance travel writer for Telegraph Media Group starting in September 2012.

In 2014, Doug joined Rio 2016 - Comitê Organizador dos Jogos Olímpicos e Paralímpicos as a Freelance reporter, content writer, and temporary editor from August to October. In the same year, they became an Author at BETC in January and worked there until their most recent role.

From 2015 to 2017, Doug worked in various roles including Editor at AIBA, Director at The Rio News Agency, and Editor at Baku 2015 European Games Operation Committee. Doug also worked as a Freelance sports writer and broadcast journalist for BBC from February to July 2015.

In November 2014, Doug joined PennWell as a Contributing Editor (South America) and contributed until November 2014.

Doug Gray attended Norwich School until 1996, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. After completing their time at Norwich School, they enrolled at the University of Leicester from 1997 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
