Eén op drie Vlamingen worstelt met psychische problemen. Bethanië biedt acute opvang, gespecialiseerde behandeling en langdurige zorg voor deze mensen in psychische nood. 

Wij organiseren onze zorgverlening vraaggericht. Dit wil zeggen dat de zorgvraag van de patiënt en zijn omgeving altijd het uitgangspunt vormt. In samenspraak met de patiënt en zijn omgeving stellen wij een behandelplan op. Wij hebben oog voor de familiale en sociale context waarin de patiënten leven.

Bethanië verenigt psychiatrisch ziekenhuis Bethanië, psychiatrisch verzorgingstehuis De Landhuizen, beschut wonen De Sprong, therapeutische gemeenschap De Evenaar en psychosociaal revalidatiecentrum De Keerkring en is samen met AZ Voorkempen gevestigd op een groen domein in Malle-Zoersel. 

Bethanië en AZ Voorkempen maken deel uit van vzw Emmaüs. Emmaüs voert een gelijke kansenbeleid. Kwaliteiten van mensen zijn doorslaggevend, ongeacht hun leeftijd, geslacht, etnische afkomst, seksuele geaardheid, religie, handicap of nationaliteit.
