Better Climate Governance is a collaborative platform advancing more effective and equitable climate governance around the world. We bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, civil society, and communities to strengthen the decision-making systems that shape climate outcomes. Our work focuses on bridging gaps between science, policy, and lived realities, supporting processes that move beyond commitments to real, sustained action aligned with the 1.5°C goal.

We deliver this mission through three core services: (1) Knowledge Sharing - we convene learning dialogues, workshops, and public forums to exchange lessons and experience across regions and sectors; (2) Research - we generate and synthesise research that supports evidence-based policymaking and governance reform; (3) Partnership Building: We facilitate relationships and collaboration between institutions, networks, and communities working toward just and resilient climate futures. Through these, we aim to support systems that are inclusive, transparent, and effective because better climate governance leads to better climate outcomes for people and the planet.
