Your firmware deadline slipped. Your prototype works on the bench but fails in the field. Your in-house team is stretched thin and the board wants a ship date.

We've been in that room.

Better Devices is the embedded engineering consultancy that many hardware teams have trusted to get from messy reality to production-ready; on scope, on schedule.

WHAT WE DO

Product feasibility
We run rigorous feasibility studies before you commit budget. You get a clear go/no-go with full trade-off analysis, not a slide deck full of assumptions.

Device development
From raw concept through rapid PoC to rugged, certified production hardware. Firmware, wireless connectivity (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa), RTOS architecture, and OTA update infrastructure — built right from day one. We've taken multiple products from prototype to market.

Testing and field engineering
HIL/SIL automated test pipelines, embedded CI/CD, forensic root-cause analysis, and field diagnostics that catch failures before your customers do. Our testing frameworks have reduced field failure rates by 60% for clients in industrial IoT, medical devices, smart home.

WHY TEAMS CHOOSE US OVER HIRING OR FREELANCERS
We don't hand you a deliverable and disappear. We embed with your engineering team for the full lifecycle, feasibility through post-launch support. Located in Berlin and serving clients in the US, EU, and UK.
