Darren Root is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the accounting and consulting sectors. As Co-Founder of Better Everyday since July 2024, Darren is at the forefront of innovative solutions. Previously, Darren served as Chief Strategist at Rightworks from April 2020 to July 2024, following a successful tenure as Founder and CEO of Rootworks from October 2006 to April 2020, where the company was sold to Rightworks. Additionally, Darren founded RootAdvisors in September 1988 and was Executive Editor at CPA Practice Advisor from September 2009 to May 2016. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, completed in 1984.
