Better Organisations is a Research & Innovation company that helps organisations transform into better organisations: purpose-driven, future-ready entities that tackle societal and environmental challenges while building commercial value. The company integrates business design, organisational culture development/transformations and sustainable business design to support partners navigating complex strategic, cultural and market transitions. Its work combines human-centred design, systems thinking and evidence-based experimentation, ensuring that solutions are commercially viable, adoptable and aligned with long-term impact goals.

A core capability is the design and facilitation of Living Labs, which provide real-life environments for testing value propositions, business models and emerging value chains. These labs mobilise users, employees, experts and partners to surface adoption barriers, refine concepts and generate early evidence of commercial, organisational and societal feasibility. For Horizon Europe consortia, they strengthen exploitation pathways, impact logic and market readiness from early TRLs. For companies, they reduce risk, accelerate learning and support the creation of offerings that work in real markets.

Better Organisations also embeds human-centricity, sustainability and resilience into innovation processes and organisational strategies. This ensures that technological, organisational and business-model developments support profitable growth while addressing wider system needs. The company’s work spans technology-oriented Living Labs, SME and social-enterprise transitions, early-stage business-model development, capability-building programmes and ecosystem strategy processes - helping partners navigate complexity, validate assumptions and build solutions that generate commercial value while contributing to major societal and environmental challenges.
