Eric McDaniel

Eric McDaniel, MBA, is an experienced professional with a strong background in quality control, compliance, and underwriting operations. Currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of Quality Control at Better since 2019, Eric previously held significant roles at State Farm® from 2013 to 2018, directing a 50-person Underwriting Operations Department while overseeing the production of 15,000 residential mortgage loans annually. Eric's career began at Wells Fargo, where various positions included Assistant Vice President of Residential Lending, leading the launch of a new site, and managing significant underwriting operations. Eric holds an MBA and a BBA in Finance from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
