Shane Giraldo

Shane Giraldo has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. In 2013, they worked as a Field Manager/Recruitment for the Fund for the Public Interest, where they canvassed for various causes and was recognized as one of the top ten averaging and grossing canvassers in the country. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Bartender/Host/Counter Staff at Veggie Galaxy, where they served drinks and managed restaurant traffic flow. In the same period, they also worked as the Community and Training Chair at Simmons College, where they trained orientation leaders and handled data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel. In 2016, they became an Assistant Manager/Barista Certifier/Hiring Manager at JP Licks, managing a staff of 20-40 employees and training new managers. From 2017 to 2018, Shane worked as a Business Development Representative at Toast, Inc., collaborating with senior sales representatives and making cold calls to prospective clients. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Manager at Pavement Coffeehouse, implementing initiatives to boost team morale and advocating for wage equality. At Lytx, Inc., Shane held multiple roles from 2021 to 2023, including Senior Enterprise Sales Development Representative and Sales Development Representative, consistently achieving quota and making cold calls to arrange meetings/demonstrations. Currently, they are working as an Enterprise Sales Development Representative at BetterComp, utilizing machine learning and advanced analytics to streamline the market pricing process.

Shane Giraldo completed a Bachelor of Sociology degree at Simmons University from 2012 to 2016. The degree program included a focus on Sociology, Art, and Chemistry. In addition to their degree, Shane obtained two certifications in May 2017 - the ServSafe Allergen Certification and the ServSafe Manager Course, both from ServSafe Certified.
