Biru Kumar

Biru Kumar has worked at several companies over the past fourteen years. Biru began their career in 2007 as a B.Tech student at IIIT Hyderabad. In 2011, they became a Software Engineer at CA Technologies, where they were responsible for writing code to update the database for any behavioural changes and to get the Dashboard to see all those reports on the front end. In 2014, they moved to InMobi as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed a Hadoop Pipeline to extract data from different colos, process the data to identify the end user, and render targeted ads. Biru also built a big data tool to identify the user location and render location-wise ads within minutes. In 2015, Biru Kumar joined Hansel.io as a Lead, where they were a Founding Member of the backend team. In 2020, they became an Associate Director of Technology at LIDO, where they worked on the Consumer Front by building a Student Dashboard, introducing leaderboards and personalised homework, and developing Student performance Reports. Biru also added new teacher functionality to the dashboard by introducing parent teacher meetings and reports available to teachers. Finally, in 2021, they became the Senior Director of Engineering at Betterhalf.ai.

Biru Kumar obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology between 2007 and 2011.
