James Ditmore

James Ditmore is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in behavioral health and care coordination. Currently employed at BetterHelp since November 2022, James previously held roles at Optum within UnitedHealth Group from October 2005 to September 2021, culminating in a managerial position overseeing care coordination and advocacy. Contributions included analysis of outreach statistics, collaboration with health plan leadership, and supervision of staff across multiple teams. Prior to this, James practiced psychotherapy and psychosocial assessments in various settings, including private practice and hospitals, and earned an M.Ed in Counseling and Health Education and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Houston.
