Karina Kim

Karina Kim, PhD, LCSW, LCADC, CCS, is a highly experienced psychotherapist and clinical supervisor currently providing psychotherapy at Essen Health Care and multiple other organizations, including The Appropriate Place Inc. as Director of Clinical Services. With a comprehensive background in mental health, Karina has overseen clinical operations in co-occurring outpatient settings and offered individual and family psychotherapy aimed at youth and their families. Karina's academic qualifications include a PhD and BA in Psychology from Stony Brook University, alongside a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and training as a Cosmetologist-Hairstylist.
