Nadia Sater

Nadia Sater is a seasoned professional in the field of mental health and education, currently serving as a Behavior Specialist at Plymouth-Canton Community Schools since September 2023 and as a Mental Health Therapist at BetterHelp.com since March 2021. Sater has previously worked as an MS/HS Transition/504 School Counselor for Dearborn Public Schools and served as an Anti-Bullying Facilitator for Defeat the Label, where character education was delivered to Southeast Detroit schools. Other notable roles include providing school counseling for middle and high school students at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish School and delivering counseling and art therapy services at Nadia A. Samhouri's practice. Sater has also contributed to various educational settings as a Counselor at Star International Academy, an Instructional Assistant and Clinical Counseling and Art Therapy Supervisor at Wayne State University, and a Project Achievement Coordinator for the International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit. Sater holds an M.A. in Community Counseling with a concentration in Art Therapy from Wayne State University and a BA in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art from Hope College.
