Benjamin DeBord

Benjamin DeBord has a diverse work experience in the fields of coaching, leadership development, and training.

Most recently, they worked as an Executive & Leadership Coach at BetterManager starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they operated their own coaching business called Benjamin DeBord Coaching, where they held the role of Certified Leadership Coach (ACC) from May 2022.

From April 2022 to March 2023, Benjamin worked as a Senior Leadership Development Training Specialist at Sunrun.

From April 2020 to April 2022, they served as the Leadership Development Training Program Manager at the Department of Juvenile Justice - VPSTC.

Before that, Benjamin worked at the Virginia Retirement System from October 2016 to April 2020, initially as a Curriculum Developer and Senior Products and Services Trainer and later as a Curriculum Developer.

Benjamin'searliest role was as a Training Specialist at BrownGreer PLC from May 2014 to April 2016.

Benjamin DeBord has a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Emory & Henry College. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology and English from James Madison University. Alongside their formal education, Benjamin has also acquired various certifications. Benjamin received the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the International Coaching Federation in September 2022. In the same month, they also obtained the Enlifted Level II Coach certification from Enlifted. Earlier in March 2022, Benjamin obtained the Enlifted Level I Coach certification from the same institution. Benjamin has completed the Better Conversations and Coaching Training Program from the Center for Creative Leadership in December 2021. Additionally, Benjamin is certified as a DiSC Management Facilitator from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand since April 2021. In February 2021, they became an MBTI Certified Practitioner through The Myers-Briggs Company.
