Amanda Pasko, MS, MPH, RD, serves as a Science Content Editor at BetterMe, where responsibilities include editing articles on nutrition and exercise physiology. As a contributing writer for USA Track & Field, Pasko produces articles focused on nutrition and athletic performance and plays a vital role in the National Women’s Commission as Secretary and Treasurer, in addition to founding the Perform: 24 Program. Pasko also contributes to Brainz Magazine and works as an Outpatient Nutrition Education Specialist at WakeMed. A post-collegiate track and field athlete with multiple world titles, Pasko founded Athletic Peak Nutrition & Performance, LLC, and has extensive experience in both clinical and public health nutrition from educational roles at Atrium Health and Rice University. Pasko earned a Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master’s in Nutritional Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
