Betterment Labs, LLC, was established by Catherine Callow-Heusser and Charles R Major as an app incubator that focuses on niche markets, employee ideas, and external contracts for promising apps. We use needs assessment best practices to determine what underserved needs with strong potential exist in these markets. Then, Betterment Lab’s teams build well-designed, secure, reliable apps that will meet the currently unrealized needs of these markets.

Alongside extensive technical knowledge, experience, and skills in technology, app development,  education, and evaluation, the Betterment Labs team also brings a diverse background of interests and experiences. This means that we are able to figure out what the real needs of the end users are to help find technical solutions for people who don’t understand how the technology works, but who need tools that are easy to use and work every time.
