Evol Greaves

Evol Greaves is the current VP, Engineering at Betterment. Evol has over 14 years of experience in software development and has held various positions at companies such as JW Player, 352, Inc., and Betterment.

Evol started their career as a software developer at 352, Inc. where they worked on various projects including the development of SocialNewsDesk and OnAir. Evol then led the team that built and maintained the second version of YouCaring's crowdfunding platform. Evol was also responsible for code refactoring and optimization to improve site performance amid rapid traffic growth.

In 2007, Evol moved to JW Player where they became the Senior Vice President Of Engineering. Evol oversaw the development of various products including the company's flagship product, JW Platform. Evol was also responsible for leading the engineering team and spearheading initiatives to improve company culture and recruitment.

Evol joined Betterment in 2021 as the VP, Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for leading the engineering team and overseeing the development of Betterment's products.
