Mike Reust

Mike Reust has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mike began their career in 2008 as a Software Engineer at Quantitative Risk Management and later worked as a Software Engineer at ZocDoc in 2010. In the same year, they also joined Group Commerce, where they held various positions, including Software Engineer, Tech Lead, and Engineering Manager. In 2015, they became a Public Speaker while being self-employed.

From 2016 to 2019, Mike held an advisory and investment role at multiple companies, including Spruce, Firefly, and smileML. In 2016, they also joined Betterment as an Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering. Over the years, they took on additional responsibilities and positions within Betterment, such as VP, CTO, General Manager, President of Retail, and currently serving as the President.

In 2020, Mike expanded their investment portfolio by becoming an investor at Companion. In 2021, they joined Verbate as an Investor. Overall, Mike's work experience demonstrates their expertise in software engineering, leadership, and investment roles across various industries.
