Neil Hannah

Neil Hannah is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile and front-end development. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Betterment since March 2022, Neil previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Makara, where mobile app development was emphasized until the company's acquisition by Betterment. Neil's past roles include Front End Architect at Stream, where Neil led significant documentation and integration initiatives, and Mobile Team Lead at Connected Cars A/S, developing a successful Typescript codebase for 20 apps. Neil also co-founded the startup Pedal and contributed to the development of various mobile applications in earlier roles. With a solid foundation in engineering from Northeastern University, complemented by international education at DTU, Neil has demonstrated innovative problem-solving and technical leadership throughout a diverse career spanning over a decade.
