William Gnade

William Gnade, CPA has worked at Betterment since 2016, starting as a Senior Accountant before moving up to Manager and then Senior Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Assistant Controller. Prior to joining Betterment, they worked at PwC as an Assurance Associate and later as an Assurance Senior Associate from 2011 to 2016.

William Gnade, CPA earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The College of New Jersey, graduating in 2011. In addition, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the AICPA in September 2011. William further enhanced their professional qualifications by acquiring the Series 99 - Operations Professional certification from FINRA in February 2017 and the Series 27 - Financial and Operations Principal certification from FINRA in May 2019.
