Richard Wen

Richard Wen has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Richard worked as a Software Engineer at BetterOmics since October 2020. Prior to that, they were a Software Developer at GRAIL, Inc. from August 2019 to October 2020. Richard also gained valuable experience as a Software Development Intern at Amazon from September 2018 to December 2018. Additionally, they had internships at Clever Inc. and Taboola in 2018 and 2017 respectively. At Clever Inc., they worked on the Goals team, designing and implementing a project to improve teacher-student communication. At Taboola, they conducted research on alternative clustering methods for Topic Modeling and implemented a version of Hierarchical K-Means Clustering. Richard also contributed to the Insights Team at Taboola, working on frontend codebase shift to ES6 and TypeScript and utilizing Machine Learning through Tensorflow for obtaining and relating 30-day topics.

Richard Wen attended UCLA from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
