Alice Ackerman

Alice Ackerman, MD, MBA, PCC, is a seasoned leadership and executive coach, currently serving as Principal/Owner of A D Ackerman Coaching and Consulting LLC since March 2019. With a diverse coaching portfolio that includes roles at Axiogenics, The Pyramid Resource Group, BetterUp, and as a Core Guide at Chief, Alice focuses on helping individuals uncover blind spots and enhance their decision-making to create value in various aspects of life. Previous positions include serving as Chair and Founding Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Carilion Clinic, and past chair of the section on critical care at the American Academy of Pediatrics. Alice's educational background includes an MD from Washington University in St. Louis, an MBA from Loyola University Maryland, and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College.
