Allison Akers

Allison Akers is the Owner and Member of Akers Legal PLLC since March 2015, specializing in overflow assistance for corporate legal departments and law firms, with expertise in commercial contract drafting, review, negotiation, and legal research. Additionally, Allison serves as a BetterUp Certified Coach and owns Akers Coaching LLC since September 2019. Previous experience includes management of legal and business affairs at Austin Modern Living, roles in contracts at JMJ Associates and Dell, attorney positions with the University of Texas System and ERM: Environmental Resources Management, and serving as a Corporate Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, an MA in International Business from Boston University Brussels Graduate Center, and a BA in French from Texas Tech University.
