Chris Friedrich

Chris Friedrich is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web development and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at BetterUp since September 2021, Chris previously held software engineering roles at Methodology and Secret Passage Studio, LLC. As the Co-Founder and CTO of Light Science, Chris developed a photography education app aimed at enhancing users' photographic skills. Holding a leadership position as Director of Web Engineering at Lumos Labs, Chris managed a team of 20 engineers and played a significant role in team expansion. Early career experiences include software engineering positions at Hewlett-Packard and various roles at United Behavioral Health. Chris holds a BA in History from the University of Minnesota and has completed BS coursework in Computer Science at San Francisco State University.
