Doran Oatman

Doran Oatman, LCSW-S, is an experienced mental health professional and manager, currently serving as the Care Guide Team Manager at BetterUp since June 2021. In this role, Doran has developed quality assurance programs, recruited and trained team members, and created case management systems to enhance service delivery. Doran has previously held positions as a Care Guide at BetterUp, Psychotherapist and founder of A New Beginning Counseling, Bereavement Coordinator at Hospice Austin, School Social Worker at Jervey and Associates, and Casework Supervisor at Court Appointed Special Advocates. Doran's expertise includes grief counseling, trauma-informed care, and innovative member engagement strategies. Doran holds a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, Doran is part of the Winter 2024 Cohort at WELL, a leadership organization for women in digital health.
