Grace Garoutte-Mohammed

Grace Garoutte-Mohammed, M.A., LPC-IT, currently serves as a Blog Contributor and Certified Coach at BetterUp since March 2022, while also owning and practicing as a therapist at Anchored Mental Health since August 2023, specializing in trauma, anxiety, and relationship concerns using various therapeutic modalities including EMDR and the Gottman method for couples therapy. Additionally, Grace has been an Adjunct Professor at Carroll University since August 2019, teaching introductory and abnormal psychology, as well as lifespan psychology. In previous roles, Grace has delivered keynote speeches for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, served on the Board of Directors for HAVEN, Inc., and participated in various capacities such as a Caregiver Fellow at the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at Project 1948. With a strong educational background in psychology and counseling from institutions like The Chicago School and Oral Roberts University, Grace combines academic knowledge with practical experience to support and empower individuals and families.
