Joseph Palacios is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in coaching, academia, and spiritual care. Currently serving as a BetterUp Care Coach since April 2023, Joseph employs evidence-based methods to enhance mental and emotional health. As Principal and Executive Coach at Higher Calling Coaching, Consulting & Celebrations, Joseph focuses on career and leadership development. Joseph also leads Sensible Spirituality Associates, which provides spiritual care and consulting services across various sectors. Previously, Joseph contributed as a Contributing Fellow at the Center for Religion and Civic Culture at the University of Southern California, conducted research on Catholic clergy in Los Angeles, and taught sociology courses at both the University of Southern California and Georgetown University. Additional experiences include serving as a Spiritual Care Counselor at the Betty Ford Center and consulting on Latin American culture and human rights for HRL Laboratories.
