Julia Tierney is an accomplished leader in strategy and business operations, currently serving as RVP EMEA and Director of Strategy & Business Operations at BetterUp since June 2023. With a rich background in the development of AI-enabled coaching platforms, Julia has greatly contributed to enhancing organizational performance. Prior to BetterUp, Julia was a founding member and CEO at Hive Learning, where a pioneering peer-learning platform was established, enabling significant cultural change in enterprises. Julia's experience also includes leadership roles at IMG, overseeing PR, marketing, and communications for major sporting events, and culminating in a six-month adventure sailing the Atlantic Ocean. Julia began the educational journey at Nottingham University Business School, earning a BA in Management & Economics.
