Laura Camacho, PhD, is a seasoned communication strategist and coach with extensive experience in both corporate and educational settings. As the founder of Speak Up, Laura hosts a podcast designed for high-performing introverts, sharing insights on communication and culture-building within organizations. Laura currently serves as a communication coach at BetterUp and was a member of the Forbes Coaches Council from November 2018 to November 2023. Previous roles include Senior Systems Educator at the Medical University of South Carolina, Visiting Assistant Professor at the College of Charleston, and Visiting Lecturer at East Carolina University, among others. Laura holds a PhD in Communication from Regent University, an MBA in International Corporations from The University of Dallas, and a BA in Economics and Spanish from Sweet Briar College.
