Lorien Elleman

Lorien Elleman, PhD, is a behavioral scientist and research psychologist with 18 years of experience in research and data analysis focusing on human behavior, cognition, and emotions. Currently a Senior Research Scientist at BetterUp, Lorien leads the scientific efforts behind the company's flagship assessment, innovating new approaches to measurement. Prior to this, Lorien served as a Senior Behavioral Scientist at Torch, where they developed analytics tools to gauge the impact of professional coaching. With a PhD in personality psychology from Northwestern University, Lorien has contributed to several peer-reviewed papers and has managed a diverse array of research projects throughout their career.
