Ryan Swanson

Ryan Swanson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) within the public sector. Currently serving as a Senior GRC Analyst at BetterUp since October 2022, Ryan has played a pivotal role in establishing a program for FedRAMP implementation and securing initial authorization to operate for the BetterUp government community cloud. Prior to this, Ryan was a Senior Manager at Salesforce from January 2015 to October 2022, where responsibilities included analyzing compliance frameworks and managing a team focused on providing advisory support across various standards. Earlier experience includes a managerial role at KPMG LLP, where involvement in FedRAMP authorization processes and audit readiness frameworks for government agencies was critical. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University.
