Shankar Thayumanavan

Shankar Thayumanavan is an experienced coaching professional with a diverse background in leadership development and organizational strategy. Currently serving as a Fellow Coach at BetterUp since April 2019, Shankar partners with clients globally to enhance their personal and professional growth. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Ash-Hubs Leadership Institute from January 2016 to August 2020, Shankar established a consulting firm specializing in innovation and design thinking, collaborating with renowned academic and industry organizations. Prior roles include Vice President at The Arbinger Institute, where responsibilities included mentoring senior consultants and driving business development strategies, and Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank. Shankar also held managerial roles at Accenture and IBM, contributing to a cumulative wealth of experience derived from reputable multinational companies. Academically, Shankar has obtained a Coaching Mastery graduate degree from The Arbinger Institute and a BTech in Materials Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, with ongoing certification in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
