The NGO "Bevar Ukraine" was been established in 2014 by Danish Ukrainians in response to the humanitarian crisis in Eastern Ukraine after the unlawful Russian takeover of Crimea and Donbass.

Bevar Ukraine is 100% staffed by volunteers - of which up to 300 are engaged at some time - which makes every donation count - but also ensures that donation given to us is passed on to the Ukrainian people without any administrative fees.

Bevar Ukraine aims to provide humanitarian aid and support to:

- Hospitals and people in crisis;
- People forcefully relocated from occupied areas of Ukraine;
- Disabled people;
- Orphan asylums and children;
- Elderly people.

Bevar Ukraine is based in Denmark and operates on the whole territory of Ukraine directly or through partnering organisations.
