Alex Willems

Alex Willems has significant experience in project development and research in social welfare, currently serving as a Projectmedewerker Armoedebestrijding at Gemeente Amsterdam since September 2018. In this role, Alex conducts research and implements projects aimed at increasing access to poverty relief services in Amsterdam. Prior to this role, Alex was an Onderzoeksstagiair at the same municipality, focusing on reaching underrepresented eligible individuals for social services. Additionally, Alex has worked as a Verkoopmedewerker at Bever since February 2018 and held a position in medical administration at VUmc from April 2016 to January 2018. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam and has completed premaster studies in both Social and Organisational Psychology and Sociology at Leiden University and the University of Amsterdam, respectively.
