Sonja Korevaar

Sonja Korevaar is a co-founder and contact for Europe at Sherpa Heritage Trails P. Ltd. since January 2017, where responsibilities include web design and sustainable program development alongside managing director Gomba Sherpa. Since January 2006, Korevaar has worked as a freelance tour leader with SNP Natuurreizen BV, focusing on creating unique travel experiences that emphasize nature and authentic culture. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Store Manager and in Sales & Customer Service at Bever since October 2002, ownership of NaarNepal.nl from May 2016 to November 2018, and animal care at Artis Zoo from October 1989 to June 2001. Educational qualifications include a degree in Sustainable Tourism and Trends from HBO Toerisme en Recreatie and several travel and tourism certifications.
