Joris Bannenberg MD

Joris Bannenberg MD PhD is a seasoned professional in the medical devices sector with extensive experience in clinical research and development. As the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Factory CRO, a leading European specialized contract research organization for medical devices, Joris played a pivotal role from 1994 to March 2020. Prior to that, a position as Manager of Clinical Trials Medical Devices at Genzyme and a stint as a consultant and Founder at Avania showcased Joris's expertise in managing clinical studies for various medical products. After founding Factory-CRO Group in 2016, Joris transitioned to BeVinced in October 2022, assuming the role of Chief Medical Officer, focusing on medical devices and in vitro diagnostics. Academic credentials include a medical degree and a PhD from the University of Amsterdam, along with research experience as a Staff Researcher in Experimental Surgery.
