Abhijit Sinha is an accomplished venture coach at beVisioneers since June 2023, focusing on empowering young individuals to create ventures that address climate change. As the founder and CEO of Project DEFY since September 2015, Abhijit has developed Self-learning Spaces, known as Nooks, which foster self-directed learning in marginalized communities. In addition, Abhijit serves as a Rajeev Circle Fellow at the Motwani Jadeja Foundation, mentoring young innovators from the developing world and connecting them to Silicon Valley resources. Previously, Abhijit participated in the kanthari program for social changemakers and co-founded Education For Development, where alternative education spaces were developed in underserved areas of India. Abhijit began professional experience as an associate engineer at Informatica after earning a B-Tech in Computer Science Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology.
