Derek Andersen

Derek Andersen is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in community building and product development. As Co-Founder and CEO of Bevy since 2017, Derek has focused on enterprise community events and user group software, serving high-profile clients such as Google and Adobe. Concurrently, Derek co-founded and leads Startup Grind, which operates a 600-city community across 120 countries, hosting over 20,000 events and attracting 1 million attendees. Previously, Derek co-founded Vaporware Labs and held key roles at Electronic Arts, where contributions included managing social media for major franchises and product marketing for notable titles. Derek's educational background includes a degree in Communications from Brigham Young University. Additionally, Derek serves as Head Coach for a Little League team.
